The Lodge

Yades Pozar is harmoniously positioned in the natural environment and operates under new management since 2018.

Built on the edge of Loutraki village with the famous thermal baths, Yades Pozar is a lodge with rugged stone walls that convey the traditional architecture of another era, with sophisticated interiors, balconies and large windows. The warmth of the home is reflected on the stone surroundings, the lush garden with stunning views unfolds to discover new points of relaxation. The echoes of running water from the adjacent river place the visitor in the heart of nature, with the imposing mountain peaks framing a rare feeling of binding with the beauty of nature.

“We wish you a pleasant and relaxing stay!”

THE ADMINISTRATION

Traditional architecture superiority

Built on the edge of Loutraki village with the famous thermal baths, Yades Pozar is a lodge with rugged stone walls that convey the traditional architecture of another era, with sophisticated interiors, balconies and large windows. The warmth of the home is reflected on the stone surroundings, the lush garden with stunning views unfolds to discover new points of relaxation. The echoes of running water from the adjacent river place the visitor in the heart of nature, with the imposing mountain peaks framing a rare feeling of binding with the beauty of nature.

Yades and the Greek mythology

Yades were the 7 daughters of Atlas and Plioni, and Yas was their brother. Yades, together with the 7 Pleiades, are the 14 Atlantis, otherwise known as Dodoni as they were the brides of Dodoni, to whom God Dionysus was given to as an infant to grow up, with the trust of Zeus.

After Yas’s death in a hunting accident, Yades began to cry out of their regret incessantly (a mythological justification for the “crying” of the rain). Then the gods felt sorry for them and transformed them into stars. It is the famous Yades star cluster known in Astronomy, at the bull’s head of the homonymous constellation. And indeed, the appearance of this cluster before dawn meant each year the end of the dry summer and the beginning of the fisrt rainfall for the Mediterranean countries.

Philosophy of accommodation

Hospitality at Yades Guesthouse is distinguished by the character of self-catering accommodation, with discretion and privacy being key elements of the hospitality’s identity that is offered. Our guests enjoy the autonomy of their suite and at the same time they are responsible for the basic maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness of their space, without any intervention on the part of the lodge except for special emergency cases
